Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion supports thousands of serving and ex-serving personnel every year. It can provide specialist compensation advice, help with debt and emergency situations, and can support you through grant applications.
SSAFA Forcesline
A free and confidential telephone helpline and email service that provides support for serving (regulars and reserves), ex-Forces and for their families. SSAFA is outside of the military chain of command, will listen and we will not judge.

The Army Families Federation (AFF) is the independent voice of Army families and works hard to improve the quality of life for Army families around the world. It can provide advice on finances, housing, pay and other aspects of Army life.
Royal Naval Association
The Royal Naval Association is committed to supporting Naval veterans, serving personnel and their families by offering community and guidance on a local, national and international level. When times are tough, we can help you find the right support services.
RAF Benevolent Fund
The RAF Benevolent Fund provides support for former and serving members of the RAF, their partners and dependent children. Support includes grants to help with financial difficulty and getting about inside and outside the home, specialist advice on benefits and support with care needs.
Briefings & Site Visits
We are always happy to brief your unit on what we have to offer, and share some basic tips on good personal financial management. Typically, we can do this as part of:
- Meetings or one-to-one briefings with key personnel
- Attending a Health or Well-being Fayre
- Organising a workshop-style briefing for personnel
- Taking part in training events or other activity.
